Agility

Agility is the world's fastest growing sport for dogs and their handlers. Using only hand signals and voice control, handlers lead their dogs through a variety of jumps, tunnels and other obstacles.   

At Heatherlea, you can start Agility as soon as you have basic control of your dog and the dog will sit and down on command.

The sport of agility is run by a few different organizations such as USDAA and NADAC. Most organizations allow any dog to compete, purebred or not. Although some breeds tend to be better suited to the sport, all dogs seem to enjoy it and do well.
